1917 Savage Lewis Gun Caliber .30-06. (2) "slide deck" magazines. One of the magazines is like new. The Lewis gun was one of the most battle proven machine guns in World War I. It was not only used in ground warfare, but it is credited with shooting down more German planes than any other firearm. This gun is one of the finest if not the best Lewis gun in the United States. The Stemple 76/45 is of similar design to the Smith & Wesson Model 76. However, it is chambered in .45ACP. This gun fires from the open bolt position. It's design incorporates the use of the M3 Grease Gun "stick" magazine. It is very accurate and effectively dissipates heat with its built in perforated barrel shroud. Ships with (3) new "grease gun" magazines. It is a great entry level machinegun and extremely fun to shoot !
